AES-256 Encryption
Every photo is encrypted with AES-256-GCM and stored securely. Photos are decrypted on-demand only when you view them — no one else can access them.
All images stored as encrypted binary data in the database — not readable even with direct database access.
AES-256-GCM Standard
IV + ciphertext + auth tag stored together. The same encryption used by governments and financial institutions.
Profile Pictures Encrypted Too
Not just items — your profile photo is encrypted with the same standard.
Row-Level Security
